Grullo Road
General information
This trail runs through the hills that form part of the Salado River valley to the fields of El Lanchar and El Grullo, two estates dedicated to the breeding of fighting bulls, ending at the old pastoral resting places of El Parralejo and La Muela. The route begins at the Vereda del Camino de Medina Sidonia or del Grullo, which is accessed from exit 26 (Conil) of the Costa de la Luz (A-48) motorway. In this area, between hills and hills populated by a wide variety of Mediterranean shrubs and bushes, you can see numerous fighting bulls and Retinto cattle.
The route crosses Conil de la Frontera, heading back towards the Vereda de los Morales and Grullo, through sandy hills at the foot of the Salado River. The route ends in the agricultural areas of the valley of the Peñas stream until it reaches La Muela, a hamlet of Vejer de la Frontera. It is a linear route, presents a low difficulty and has a distance of 17.5 km. The route starts on the Vereda del Camino de Medina Sidonia or del Grullo and ends in La Muela.
